YouTube Tips & Techniques
I've been playing around with some YouTube hacks and thought I'd share some ideas with everyone. I found some that you might find useful for your video tours:
Embedded Videos... One of the little irritations of a YouTube embedded video is the distraction of a choice at the end that invites the viewer to click on other videos "similar" to your tour. It's possible to get rid of that distraction. All you have to do is ad [ ;rel=0 ] after the video id. Another bother is that the size of the stock YouTube viewer is fairly large. I've embedded two versions of the same video below. I've changed the size of the one on the right. To do this, just edit the embedded script where it has height and width, to suit your needs. It's best to keep a ratio of 1.2 to 1 for width to height. The standard YouTube script will give you a 425 x 355 viewer like the on the left. The one on the right is 250 x 200 pixels. Play the the one on the left for the standard version and on the one on the right that has been modified to see the results of the [ ;rel=0 ] addition.

Want a break?... If you have about four minutes, and you like Joan Osborne and the Funk Brothers Band, you'll enjoy this.
